Tatiana has also brought enforcement proceedings in France.
By order of 10 March 2017, the President of the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris declared enforceable in France the order of Mr Justice Haddon-Cave dated 20 December 2016, under the Maintenance Regulation (European Council Regulation (EC) No 4/2009 of 18 December 2008).
On 23 June 2020, Farkhad’s appeal against that order was rejected by the Court of Appeal of Paris. Farkhad was also ordered to pay €20,000 to Tatiana by way of costs. Farkhad has appealed this judgment to the French Supreme Court.
